3D2N Bario Highlands
Overview
Bario is an area with a collection of indigneous Kelabit longhouses located in the center of the Kelabit Highlands in the northeast of Sarawak, Malaysia; close to the international border with Indonesian Kalimantan. Situated at the eastern edge of the Pulong Tau National Park, Bario sits approximately 1200 m (3937ft) above sea level. It is the main settlement for the indigenous Kelabit tribe in what is known locally as the Kelabit Highlands. Enjoy yourself in the “coolest” place in Sarawak. Sample the famous local rice and pineapples and bring home some salt from its naturally occurring salt spring.

Flight: DHC – 6 Twin Otter (Miri – Bario – Miri)
- This flight is not eligible for web check-in; thus passenger must proceed to the airport check-in counter to attain the boarding pass.
- Kindly weigh yourself during check-in at the Miri MAS counter.
- Proceed to the departure gate accordingly after counter check-in is completed.
- Your baggage allowance is stated in your e-ticket. Each passenger is entitled to a maximum of 10kg of checked baggage.
- One bag with a maximum dimension of 45 inches (115cm) may be carried as cabin baggage. Due to the limited cargo space in the aircraft type operated by MW, big-sized checked-in item is subjected to cargo space availability.
